I'm a social golfer - is Mindfocus for Golf something I need?
Our aim is for every golfer to be able to play to their potential. If you are a social golfer who enjoys playing, and does not feel that they can, or need to improve any further, then perhaps this tool is not for you. If, on the other hand, you lose your concentration after a bad hole, or get nervous from time to time, then Mindfocus for Golf is ideal for bannishing those aspects of your game.
The beauty of Mindfocus for Golf is that you can 'dip in and out' at your leisure. You don't need to do the assessment. You don't need to create a Mental Game Plan. If you have a particular problem, for example, with putting yips, then go straight to the Library, where you will find all the necessary information on how you can address this issue. Some of our members use the website religiously, every week, monitoring their progress, and doing the exercises each week. Others review the site when they have a bad round, and use Mindfocus for Golf as a pick-me-up. At £49.99 it is aimed to be a cost-efficient way of learning about the mental skills that will improve your game, and equates to just £1 per week.
Just ask yourself, "Could I be a better golfer?" If the answer is "yes", then try Mindfocus for Golf. Our members have reported substantial improvements and remember, there is a 45-day money-back guarantee.
I have very little time available to spend on my mental game - but I'm interested in playing better. Is this for me?
You will come across products that give promises of radical changes to your game in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, like most things, you do need to work at anything to achieve results. That said, Mindfocus for Golf has been created for amateur golfers - not the professionals who eat, sleep and breathe golf. And on that basis, you don't usually have 4-5 hours per week to work on your game!
Mindfocus for Golf provides you with short exercises to do each week. If you can spare just 20 minutes each week to review an article or videoclip, complete an activity or review your round, you can benefit from Mindfocus for Golf. Some of our members do their 'homework' immediately before or after a round, whilst others do it in the evening. Others do it in their lunchbreak.
In short, only you will know how much time you will have available, but if you are interested in playing more consistently, feeling less nervous on the course, or concentrating more during your round, and can find just 20 minutes each week to follow the Mental Game Plan that is set up for you, your game will improved - guaranteed.
Sport Psychology is just for Professional Golfers, isn't it?
No! This is a major misconception amongst many amateur golfers. Just because you do not want, or are able, to play in the Open, doesn't mean that developing your mental skills is something you should not necessarily work on. All amateur golfers are competent in mental skills - they use it all the time during their game. Are you saying that you do not think at all during your round? Unfortunately, this is rarely the case.
A prime example of a mental skill that some amateur golfers are supremely good at, is self-talk. The problem is that many amateur golfers use negative self-talk, rather than positive self-talk. Thoughts such as "I mustn't hit the ball into the rough", or "I've blown it - I'll never win this match now!" are prime examples of where the skill is used incorrectly. Sport psychology, and Mindfocus for Golf is simply a tool to help you apply the mental skills you already use, to your advantage.
So, whether you are a professional golfer, an amateur off a handicap of 3, or a 30-handicap beginner, sport psychologiy is relevant, because you are using your mind during your round. In order to play better, you need to be able to quieten your mind at times, and in other situations, use the correct thoughts to prepare yourself mentally for the shot ahead.
I'm not a computer whizz - will Mindfocus for Golf be difficult to use?
Not at all! We have spent a lot of care and attention to ensure that it is easy to use, with no prior technical computer knowledge required. The system takes you step by step through the process of setting up a Mental Game Plan, which takes around 5-10 minutes. Members have commented how surprised they were once they had started to use Mindfocus for Golf, expecting it to be difficult to use. If you can surf the internet, you can use Mindfocus for Golf.
Why is there a 45-day money-back guarantee?
When members join, they are advised to start a Mental Game Plan, and to chose one over a 1 month period. The 45-day guarantee enables golfers to do the 1 month Mental Game Plan, use all the features and review their performance. On this basis, if they feel they have tried all the advice, and given Mindfocus for Golf a fair go, but have not made any improvement, then they can request their money back.
We are confident that Mindfocus for Golf can improve your game. So we want you to try it. So, by providing a 45-day guarantee, we give you the opportunity to try the product out to see just how it can improve your game. It is a risk-free opportunity to play your best, most consistent golf - for the price of two dozen golf balls.
Why was Mindfocus for Golf developed?
Mindfocus for Golf was developed because we wanted to help amateur golfers play to their potential. It has long been known that the mental side of golf plays a substantial part in the outcome of a round, but some skills that help golfers are actually more difficult to learn and apply than people realise. A good example is imagery (or visualisation, as you may have heard it being referred as). To describe imagery in a book is difficult, if not impossible. The phase "a picture tells a thousand words, but a movie tells a million" is how we would describe the uniqueness of Mindfocus for Golf. The videoclips were filmed by the BBC, and help to explain quickly and easily how a skill should be applied.
